Ani immediately threw her arms around Masen's neck, "What are you doing are you insane!?" She scolded, though, there was no scorn in her voice, only sadness. She hugged him tightly.

(( XD oops,forgot Khalil was still there. XD ))

Khalil blinked at the question and left, deciding to leave them alone.
"Kids?" Nick asked, "Well, I wouldn't mind." he said.

"If you don't mind, it might be safer for you not to hug me until I can manage to hunt." Masen said hardly breathing. They were right she did smell very good. "It was the only way I could save you."

Sarah silently sighed in relief. "Well that's good." She said. "So would six months be too soon?"

Ani nodded and let go of him, "I'm sorry..." she said. "Masen?" she took his hand, ready to go home. She didn't want to be around this house any longer.

Nick looked at her, confused, "Doesn't it take 9 months?" he asked. He was oblivious to what she was asking.

"What?" Masen asked starting to walk toward his house.

"Well it does, but um well, I'm pregnant." Sarah said.

Ani held onto his hand tightly as she followed him, "Can we find a way to make you human?" she asked. "I don't want to be your friend, but have to be cautious around you too..." she said softly, quietly.

Nick blinked, "With who's kid!?" he asked, stunned. He didn't get that it was his kid.

"It will be alright. At the moment I just need to get some blood. I'm going to go home and talk to dad." Masen said. "He'll know what to do."

Sarah sighed. "Really, Nick?" She asked. "Whose child do you think it is?"

Ani nodded, "Okay." she said. She felt bad that he had to hold his breath because of her. She had heard one too many times that her blood smelled, and tasted sweeter than normal. She continued to hold Masen's hand though. She felt proud of him almost, because he could stand not attacking her.


Nick blinked, "Uhm...." he thought for a long time before his eyes widened, "Really!? my kid!?" he asked, almost excited, though his voice was weak. There was obvious joy on his face.

"Are you alright?" Masen asked looking at Ani.

Sarah nodded smiling. She kissed him.

Ani looked up at Masen and nodded, "Fine..." she said softly. "I want to thank you though..." she said, "but... you saved my life practically and I don't know how..." she admitted softly.

Nick smiled and kissed her back, "I can't wait." he said happily. He seemed somewhat better, now that he had found they were having a kid.

Masen shrugged. "It's alright." He said. "It was nothing much."

Sarah smiled. "I'm excited." She said. "I'm glad you're back too."

Ani looked at him as if he were crazy, "Nothing?!" she sighed and shook her head, "You saved my life." she said. She thought for a while, then smiled, "When you can control yourself, come visit me at my house." she said. She let go of his hand. "It's getting late, so I better be going back to my own house. Though, she knew it wasn't much safer there then out in the park.


Nick smiled widely, "Oh I hope he or she looks like you." he said and snuggled her.

Masen shook his head. "No. You need to come to my house. I don't trust them. What if they come back for you?"

"I don't care as long as the baby is healthy." Sarah said. "Though I hope he or she looks like you."

Ani sighed. "what about my mom?" she asked. I don't think she'll approve of me staying at a boy's house... Unless it's Kathryn's house..." she looked up at Masen.


Nick smiled, "I wanted her to... I mean, him or her to look like you first." he said and grinned.

"Whatever you're comfortable with." Masen said. "It's probably better to go to Uncle Markus's and Aunt Kathryn's. Uncle Markus is pretty skilled and Aunt Kathryn used to be the best hunter."

Sarah sighed. "How about we settle for him or her looking like a mix of both of us?" She said with a playful grin.

"I'd rather stay with your aunt and uncle." Ani admitted. "that way my mom won't get susicious. Besides, I have to ask Kathryn something." she said and looked ahead. "where does chance stay?" ani asked, she seemed concerened for the boy, or, she just wanted him to be there.

Nick sighed. "oh fine you win." he said with a laugh.

((That's what I had planned...lol))

Masen nodded. "I understand. Chance stays with my Aunt and Uncle." He said. "Sometimes I wonder if Uncle Markus thinks it's his fault that Chance was homeless for so long."

Sarah smiled and kissed him. "Yes! I win something." She said.

Ani nodded, slipping her hand back into Masen's. She seemed glad that Chance would be there. "so, do you prmise to visit me once you canget under control?" she asked, looking ahead.

Nick smiled and sighed. He seemed tired. "I will win next time." he said sleepily.
