The Roleplay

"Fit in? What do you mean by that? You have rainbow hair for God's sake!" Jinx said, crossing her arms. She started to slow down. "So what if I get into trouble? Maybe they'll kick me out and I won't have to go to school, then you won't have to follow me around like I'm some little kid."

Eddsel let his hair cast a shadow over his eyes, "Liar." he whispered before he jogged ahead so that he wouldn't have to stand beside Jinx any longer.

Jinx glared at the back of Edd's head. She ran to catch up with him. "Liar!? What do you mean by that?" She hissed.

"YOu said you wouldn't get mad. Obviously, you're mad." he said unhappily. He picked a flower and looked at it quietly. He looked over at Jinx and put it in her hair tenderly. "I'm really sorry... I am... it's just that, I've been feeling down lately, and nothing seems to work out the way that would make me happy." he said. "I'm also very moody this morning, so everything I said, I didn't mean it." he said softly. He looked at her in the eye for a moment before looking at the ground. "I also have alot on my mind, so I guess I can't think straight either." he admitted.

"I didn't think you'd say something like that!" Jinx said. She crossed her arms again and stared at Edd, not taking the flower out of her hair. "I thought you'd be happy when I came back. Aren't you? Did you not want me to come back at all? I mean, if you want I'll just leave!" She sighed. "What is it that's on your mind?"

"I am happy that you came back." Edd said and smiled at her gently. "I did tackle you didn't I?" he asked and his smile softened. He looked back at the ground. "I don't want you to leave. Every time you leave it makes me think that you don't want to be around us... me... anymore." he said. He kicked a pebble out of the way, and into the grass. "I was thinking about... something Lulu said last night..." he said softly. "She asked me if I had a girlfriend, and I said I didn't, and she asked why. I didn't know... and I told her I haven't even kissed a girl." he said. He continued to walk, "I was just wondering why I've never at least kissed a girl, and why she asked that..." he said quietly.

"It could have been a fake kind of happy." Jinx said. She sighed. "That's not why I leave. In a way it's to take a break from Matt, Ciel, and Citadel. But I have my other reasons." She shrugged. "You wanted to stay a virgin, remember? That's why you don't have a girlfriend, right? It's not that big of a deal if you don't want a girlfriend or you don't kiss. And she's just a little girl, so I guess that's why. Kids are always asking about that stuff."

Eddsel nodded, "Right..." he said softly. "Well, I know I want to be a virgin, but why not have a girlfriend?" his face brightened slightly, "Maybe I'll ask one of the girls out at school." He suggested. "Lulu, I think she's older than she looks and sounds." he said, starting to think again.

"Because girls are horny." Jinx said, smirking. "No, I'm kidding. I think you should ask someone. What do you have to lose afterall? And she is a vampire, so I wouldn't be surprised. But we're pretty old and act the age we were changed."
She looked ahead and saw the school. "Is this it?" She asked.

Eddsel smiled at Jinx, "Yes, that's our school." He walked slightly faster, "You know, I think alot of people will think you're really pretty." he said, changing the subject, "Oh, and your hair is beautiful." he grinned, looking at the flower he had placed in her hair.

Jinx sighed. "I still can't believe I'm forced to go." She said. "I don't care if people think I'm pretty. Though I am kind of getting thirsty. If somebody finds me attractive I'll just use it to my advantage."

Eddsel laughed lightly and led her into the school. After getting her registered, he walked her to her first class, "I'll see you at Lunch okay?" he handed her her scedule. A girl walking down the hall, stopped and waited for Eddsel.

Jinx sighed. "Alright." She said, taking the schedule. She looked down at it, glancing at the girl that had stopped. She turned away and headed towards her next class.

As soon as Jinx left, the girl walked over to Edd and talked with him. Eddsel smiled and walked her to class.

As soon as the bell rang Jinx walked out of the bathroom. Since second period she had been in there, already annoyed with school. She walked into the cafeteria, looking around for Edd.

Eddsel was outside, a few girls crowded around him. THey were flirting with him constantly, and he had to tell them to get lost before they did. He noticed Jinx, then smiled and waved at her.

Jinx sighed and walked over to Edd. "I hate it here. How much longer until we can leave?" She asked. "It was so boring hiding out in the bathroom."

Eddsel frowned, "Ciel and Citadel will get mad at me if you skip a class again." he said. "Just go."

"Oh they won't know." Jinx said, rolling her eyes. "Anyway, do we have to go to lunch? We don't even eat."

Eddsel sighed, "Nah, we can hang out outside." he said and smiled, "YOu need another flower for your hair." he said, smiling.

"Yeah, it was falling out of my hair. Maybe we should just keep the flowers in pots instead of in my hair." Jinx said. She took Edd's hand and followed him outside.

Eddsel smiled, "But they make you look so pretty." he said, "I like them. And you don't brush them out which makes me feel good." he said and smiled a bit more.

Jinx smiled. "Yeah, but it kept falling out. I put it in my purse." She said.
