Adair stood in the snow, in her boots wandering around. She stuffed her hands in her pockets and let her long purple hair fall over her shoulders a bit. She looked around, bored. Would this be her first Holiday season alone? First Christmas by herself? She sighed and walked on slowly, her head down.

Kira slowly opened her eyes, seeing pure white snow falling from the sky. She was laying beside a tree and a tall bush. She sat up and held her hand out. She remembered how much it used to snow in Russia. How much she loved it, but now she hated it. She couldn't feel it at all. She used to hate how cold it got, but now she missed the having that feeling. She stood up and adjusted her jacket, which she "found" on a homeless man. She looked foreward and saw a man sitting on a bench. Kira took a step foreward as she noticed fire coming from his mouth. She leaned aginst the bush for a better look and instead started making noticing noises.

(( I just woke up and my eyes hurt from falling asleep with my contacts in. Is it okay for just one character right now? >: ))

(( awwh okay. btw, close your eyes for a long time to moisten them ))

Pyriox was wearing a sleevless shirt and pants, that excentuated(?) his muscles. He didn't care who was around. He breathed out harder this time and flames engulfed the air, only to vanish immediately.

Kira moved closer to the man. Possibly a vampire? She knew some of them had strange powers, like her. She'd never heard of a firebreathing vampire, though. "You...Are you a vampire?" She asked. She wasn't senseing one in him, but then again she mgiht be wrong. And if she was and exposed her secret to an unknowing person she'd only have to touch them for a few seconds before she made them block out or die.

Pyriox opened his eyes and looked up at the pretty girl hovering over him. "Ello. And, I guess? I dunno, you tell me." he said and smiled softly. "I don't think I'm a vampire." he said.

"The undead. Once living, now no longer living because another vampire bit you. That's a vampire. But I guess you're not, then." Kira said. She sighed and shook her head. "What are you then?"

Pyroix nodded. He usually wasn't so talkative, but he was mezmirized by this beautiful girl. "Human I guess." he shrugged lightly, "You're a vampire then huh?" he continued to follow her eyes.

"Maybe I am. Why should I tell you?" Kira said. She glared a little at the boy, just remembering something. "I've never heard of a firebreathing human."

Pyriox grinned, "but you /are/ a vampire." he said. "Just because you asked me. And normally, people don't immediately ask me if I'm a vampire when they see me blow fire." he said. "I guess I'm one of thoes gifteds then?" he shrugged lightly.

"Maybe I'm just one of those people who think everyone's a vampire." Kira said. She crossed her arms.

Pyriox continued to gaze up at her. "You're a vampire." he said again, "I'm sure."

"Oh really? How can you tell then? You said you don't even know what one is." Kira said.

Pyriox sat up and took her hand, "You're cold, even through your glove." he commented before letting go almost too quickly.

"It's winter. Everyone is cold. Everyone but you, it seems." Kira said. She quickly took back her hand. "Some vampires have powers, so I'd be careful if I were you. Since you think I am a vampire I could have powerst that could torture you or maim you. Or if I wanted I could just kill you now with my fangs. If I was a vampire."

Pyriox smiled slightly, a childish, yet kind smile. "You wouldn't do that." he said. He looked up at her, "Have a seat." he said and patted the seat beside him. He watched her, and couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful she was. He couldn't believe he was talking so fast to a compleate stranger, just because she was gorgeous. "Well, yeah, but their body heat keeps them warm if they were human." he said, then leaned against the back of the bench.

"You've known me, actually you don't even know me at all, for about a minute and you already know what I won't and will do?" Kira said. She didn't move. She didn't even trust the guy. "Their skin would still be cold."

Pyroix looked confused. He finally raised his bare hand to touch her cheek.

Kira's eyes went wide and she quickly jumped back. "Don't do that! Don't touch me!" She snapped.

Pyroix seemed as if nothing had happened to him. "Er, alright." he paused, then suddenly stood up. "Hm, it's getting late." he said quietly.

Kira turned away and touched her cheek. He hadn't fainted or even stumbled a bit. How was that even possible? She turned her head slightly at him before walking back over to the bush and sitting down beside the tree.
