The Roleplay

"There isn't much to go home to." Hunter said. She sat down beside Evan. "Are you just waiting is all?"

Evan nodded, "Yeah. Once all the kids are gone I'm headed off home." he said, "Joshua would be out by then." He then looked down at his book and proceeded to read once more.

"Oh. What are you reading?" Hunter asked, not really wanting to get into detail about Evan's family life.

"(booknamehere)" Evan replied, as he continued to read.

"Well is it interesting?" Hunter asked.

Evan smiled and nodded, "Very." he said, "It's a nice book, though a bit complicated." He said as he finished it and closed the book. Someone ran by and amost pushed both Evan and Hunter into the fountain by acciden. Evan was lucky and he cought himself.

Hunter fell into the fountain, her bag spilling out into the water. She sat up and looked at Evan, moving her wet hair from her face. "That was uncalled for." She said, sighing.

Evan quickly rescued her books and held out his hand to her, "Are you alright?" he asked. It was a good thing not many people were there. The wind picked up and was beginning to make things cold.

"F-fine." Hunter stuttered. She grabbed Evan's hand and lifted herself up. She snatched her bag from the water and set it on the side. She grabbed the few other things that had fallen out and set them by her bag to dry. "Thanks for grabbing my books."

Evan nodded, "It's cold.. and now you're wet." he said, then stood as she did. "Want me to walk you home?" he asked, "Just to make sure you get everything there alright?" he asked.

Hunter looked over everything and nodded. "Yeah, I have everything." She said. She grabbed her wallet and opened it up, sighing. "All my money, though."

Evan blinked, "It's fine Hunter, it'll dry." he said. he took off his jacket and draped it around her for warmth.

"Thanks." Hunter said, holding the jacket closer to her. "You don't have to walk me home. It's not that cold."

Evan nodded and patted her on the shoulder, "Alright, keep the jacket to stay warm. I'll see you tomorrow then?" he asked.

Hunter frowned. "No, you take it. It's your jacket." She said. She took the jacket off and handed it to Evan. She then put all her wet things in her bag and slung it over her shoulder. "I'll just dry this when I get home." She said, grabbing her books.

"you sure?" Evan asked.

Hunter sighed and nodded. "Yeah, I guess." She said.

Evan looked around, no one was there. "Alright. I'll see you around Hunter." he said and turned to leave to his home.
