Ani held the cup of blood in her hand tightly. She pressed her lips together, and stared down at her reflection. She was paler, and her eyes were still blood red from thirst. She was holding her breath. "do I have to drink this...?" she asked in a soft whisper. To be honest, she was scared to. And even scared to think she might /like/ the taste. She let her right hand grip onto her backpack tightly, for she has yet gotten a room to stay in. Ani didn't mind that. She could sleep on the couch for all she cared. She sighed, waiting for the reply as she stared distanfully down at the blood.

Cedric nodded at Kira and began walking toward the house. "My name is Cedric." He replied. "I've been a vampire for quite some time."

Masen nodded. "It's better than the alternative." He stated. "Dad used to bring it home from work. Now he just buys the stuff from the blood bank before they get rid of it." He silently wondered where his dad was. He didn't want to have to talk to his mom about Ani staying here.

Kira glanced at Kolian as they walked. Her gaze went back to Cedric as he told them his name. "Where are you from? You accent is strange, but I think I recognize it." She said.

ani bit her lower lip, then slowly started to drink the blood. She was surprised how good it tasted. Her eyes slowly became green once again, and she quickly finished the cup. She Licked her lips then glanced at Masen, "Alternative...?" she asked quietly, a bit ashamed of what she had just done.

Kolian nodded. "thank you, then, Cederic." he said politely. He followed after, glancing at Kira.

"I was born in England. I grew up in London." Cedric replied. "Where are you both from?"

"Hunting." Masen replied. "I've never done it myself, but Dad says it's a bit hard on those who still hold on to their humanity." He looked down. "You have to kill people, or animals."

Kolian smiled some. "I used to live not too far from here..." he said quietly. "just a city or two away, actually.." he said softly. He looked up as they approached a nice looking house.

Ani was quiet for a long time. Hunting...? She couldn't see herself hunting, ever. She looked down into her empty cup, and she carefully set it aside. She sighed weakly and stared at her feet. "of course.." she said softly. She still wasn't used to this. She was even scared of herself. She wondered how Chance would react when he found out she was now a vampire. She licked her fangs with her mouth closed. He wouldn't be happy... Would he? She looked up at Masen. "does this mean no more school?" she asked. She knew that was a good thing. She thought about getting a job so she wouldn't be a bug burden too.

"A city or two away? So you probably have family around here." Cedric replied. He turned to Kira. "When did you live in Germany?" He asked.

"Uh well, I'm not sure about that. I haven't been to school lately and Dad's been homeschooling me. I guess the goal is to keep me away from too many people in one place. I've got pretty good control, but I don't know how you would fare. It's hard sometimes." He frowned. "I hope Dad get's home before Mom or Willow comes to investigate."
